Projects developed and maintained by NPS (Number Plate Systems) require community buy-in to ensure the accuracy and real-time nature of the provided data.
The NP Tracker project originated from the need to assist the local community in storing information about suspect vehicles, replacing the outdated approach of using spreadsheets. Recognizing the necessity of a centralized database, we expanded our reach to encompass various communities and groups.
Currently, we scan and monitor major crime-fighting initiatives and groups in South Africa and surrounding regions, specifically focusing on suspect and suspicious vehicle lookouts.
