To overcome this limitation we first detect motion in the captured feed from the Raspberry Pi camera, we use the open-source program called &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Motion&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; to first detect an event then timestamp this event for processing first by our image masking tool then detecting if there are a plate in the image.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Events are snapshots at higher frames per second to try and get the best possible picture, but this still does not guarantee a clear image if the vehicle is driving at a high speed to/from the NPS-ANPR installation.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
